Cocobolo S2S Board – Pictures aren’t doing this one justice. Purple undertones on this one and with some tight grain patterns overall but with some spots of swirls mixed in a few places, as well as ink streaks. Nice material right here.

Cocobolo S2S Billet – Straight off the Planer – Give it a couple of days for the oils to color up the surface again – great wood! some lighter big curl on this one – nice – but with a couple of surface checks present.

Cocobolo S2S Billet interesting. If you look at the rough side, you’ll see a row of small knots running down the center of the board. I’m counting 12 of them. I should have planed this side instead – I’m sure it is hiding a nice artistic flavor on this side.
